This field has rapidly advanced over the past several years and we continuously improve our products and services to keep up with this growing industry. We’ve put together this FAQ to help answer some of the general inquiries that we often receive.

Q. What does Liberty Robotics do?
A. Our goal is to improve the lives of people working with automated systems by providing a fast and user-friendly 3D robot guidance and stand-out support every step of the way.
Q. How do I know your system will work for my part & application?
A. We’ll prove it to you. If you provide a sample part and requirements for your application, we’ll setup a customized demo to prove out our system capabilities. You will receive a report of the results along with a video of the entire process. Contact us to get started.
Q. What's included in a system purchase?
A. Liberty Robotics provides everything you’ll need for a complete vision system – proprietary sensors, high performance industrialized Windows based computers (IoT embedded), proprietary software, industrial hardware (cabling, connectors, etc.) Depending on the amount of work included, additional costs may be incurred for system layout / design, engineering, installation, training, and support.
Q. Is there a warranty included in a system purchase?
A. Yes – our systems include a 1-year limited warranty that covers part defects.
Q. Which robots / PLC's can your systems communicate with?
A. Liberty Robotics has the capability to develop communications on an as-needed basis. Currently, our communications are complete for the following brands:
- Robots – FANUC, KUKA, Kawasaki, UR, ABB, Yaskawa
- PLC’s – Allen Bradley, Toyopuc, Mitsubishi
Q. If I order a system today how long until it can be installed?
A. Typically, in 11 weeks.
Q. How long does it take to install a system?
A. Installation for a single setup often takes a day, with commissioning and buy-off completed on day 2.
Q. I don't have experience with machine vision. How difficult will it be for me to learn Liberty Robotics guidance?
A. Liberty Robotics guidance is much simpler to learn compared to most vision guidance systems. The tab-based software is easy to understand without any special knowledge or previous vision system experience. To see a demo of how the system works, contact us.
