How long have you worked for Liberty Reach and what drew you to apply for the Key Account Manager position?
“I have worked at Liberty Reach for a year and a half. I have a background in computer science and software and had worked in retail sales for over 10 years. Automation’s growing demand led me to explore opportunities within that industry and Liberty Reach stood out, offering a top tier solution.”
What do you find rewarding about the work that you do?
“I enjoy talking with like-minded people in all kinds of industries about automation and technology. From forming process solutions to developing new technologies, it’s great to interface with so many people with so many good ideas.“
What is it about machine vision that you find fascinating?
“I find it fascinating that you can locate and manipulate parts in space just by sending information via electrical impulses and code. It’s simple, yet complex. Machine vision improves automation by creating environments in which machines can safely do jobs efficiently, eliminating a lot of risk for the humans involved.”
Are you currently reading any good books you would recommend?
“I just finished a book called The Attention Merchants. It’s a good look at advertising and marketing. It covers the history of the industry and how it uses psychology to commoditize our attention get us to buy things! It’s very interesting.”
