Get to know Liberty Reach Engineering Manager, Brandon, and learn more about some of his insights on the industry and his interests.
What do you find rewarding about your work as the Engineering Manager at Liberty Reach?
“The most rewarding part of my job is watching my team execute consecutive complicated installs. We’ve hit our stride on consistently achieving millimeter accuracy even while managing unexpected project constraints and it’s rewarding to be a part of that.”
What is different about Liberty Reach from other companies you have worked for in the past?
“Liberty Reach is very good at knowing which opportunities hold the most potential, and we aren’t afraid of long-term development efforts. I’ve seen this company throw the full weight of its research power at solving problems no one else in the industry is capable of. This sets us apart from other venture capital backed companies that are too focused on short-term profits. The company is both nimble and focused, which is a unique combination most companies can’t pull off.”
If someone were interested in working for Liberty Reach, what would you tell them?
“There are many opportunities to work on projects that interest you. There are so many things that need to be mastered to design a machine vision system capable of surviving and producing 10 years inside an automotive manufacturing. You can learn and specialize in a discipline of your choosing.”
What do you like to do in your spare time?
“I like building computers, target practice, lifting weights, and camping in Michigan up north. I’m originally from Arizona though so you’ll find me hiding during the winter.”
